How to Activate Delivery to Beatport + General Info

How to Deliver Your Music to Beatport

To begin delivering your music to Beatport, you must first contact our Support team to request Beatport delivery activation for your labels and account.

We must request authorization from Beatport. If the previous distributor does not grant permission to change the authorization, the end user must contact the previous distributor directly to resolve the issue.

This step is essential because your label name needs to be checked to meet Beatport’s requirements (see details below). This must be done individually for each label you manage. Activating only your main account will not suffice.

To be considered for a unique label page, please provide the following:

  • A link to your Spotify or SoundCloud page

  • A link to your Instagram profile

  • A short biography of your label, highlighting notable releases and key artists

After transferring the ownership/license of your label on nodable, you should still have access to payments and performance stats for past releases through your previous distributor (e.g., Believe), provided they continue to support financial reporting for those releases. This transfer primarily impacts future deliveries—any catalog previously distributed via the old distributor should remain accessible through their platform, while new releases will now be managed under nodable. However, we recommend confirming directly with your previous distributor to ensure continued access to financials and analytics.

Label Name

Beatport mandates that each distributor’s account has a unique set of labels, which must be registered with Beatport before any deliveries. Additionally, Beatport’s current system no longer accepts new label names. As a result, if you wish to deliver music to Beatport, your label will be renamed "Independent Co."

Please note that this renaming process is mandatory, and no modifications or exceptions can be accommodated. We acknowledge that this may be inconvenient, but these policies are set by Beatport and must be followed.

Beatport only accepts certain music genres and distribution to Beatport will not be possible if your release doesn't fall in one of the following genres:
