How to Set Up Track Revenue Splits on nodable
Written By Luciano Esposito
Managing revenue splits efficiently ensures that all collaborators receive their fair share. With nodable, you can easily set up and automate track revenue splits for seamless royalty distribution. Follow the steps below to add a Payee Revenue Share to your tracks.
Important Notes Before You Begin
You can only create revenue splits for tracks that have already been approved for distribution. If your track has not yet been distributed, you will need to wait until it is live on digital platforms before setting up splits.
Once a split is created, it is essential to ensure accuracy, as incorrect splits require manual intervention from our support team.
Find the Track You Want to Add the Payee Revenue Share To
Log into your Nodable distribution account.
Choose the release where you want to add a Payee Revenue Share.
In the release view, select "Track Splits" from the left-hand sidebar.
Click "Add Splits" in the top right-hand corner.
Add the Payee Revenue Share to the Dashboard
Once you've selected the track, fill in the following details for each collaborator:
Payee Name(s)
Payee Email Address(es)
Percentage of revenue share for the track
Repeat this process for each payee who requires a share of the revenue.
Ensure you include yourself in the revenue splits if you want to receive a share from the release.
If you want to apply the same revenue split across all tracks in a release, select all tracks, then click "Options" → "+ Add Splits" to apply the split automatically.
Check the Details You Have Entered
Before finalizing the revenue splits, review all details carefully:
Ensure all collaborators who require a revenue share have been added.
The total split percentage must equal 100%.
Once everything is correct, click “Create Splits” to save the settings and activate the revenue share.
Confirm the Payee Revenue Share
Once you have submitted the revenue split, you will be asked to confirm that you accept full responsibility for the details provided.
